What we do
Independence Cay provides transitional housing for up to 17 men that are committed to making the changes necessary to get their lives back on track. Every day of the week, they welcome the homeless for a hot lunch, showers, and laundry. It is also open to all during inclement or cold weather.
Free Hot Meals
7 days a week from 12.30pm until 2pm. All welcome.
Laundry Facilities
Available to residents and visitors between 11am and 2pm.
Transitional Housing
Men only, committed to sober living. Must be work oriented
Bicycles to Borrow
We usually have a collection of bicycles available for those in need of basic transport.
Job Seekers Advice
Encouragement and assistance for both residents and visitors in presentation and interview skills.
AA Assistance
We can connect you with drug and alcohol recovery services
Free Showers
Available to both men and woman 7 days a week between 11am and 2pm.
Case Management
Assistance in assessing specific needs and making the appropriate referrals.
